[Leica] OT: upgrade to High Sierra?

I am currently running OSX Yosemite on my Mac laptop, and everything is fine. From time to time, Apple encourages me to upgrade to High Sierra. While the upgrade is free, I have until now ignored it based on “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. But am I missing out on some great new features or performance improvement?

I would like to hear from people who have experience with this upgrade. My laptop is a reasonably modern Macbook Air with 8 GB RAM.
