I am attending a conference at the University of Bordeaux where I will give a talk later this morning. Last night, I went for a walkabout, taking advantage of the good weather. The city is beautiful and I will post a gallery in due course, but as often happens, the people were truly interesting. So here are six images of Bordeaux people.

Re the last image, while it may seem silly to eat fish & chips in Bordeaux, these were actually some of the best fish & chips I have ever had. The combination of English tradition, French ingredients and cooking skills proved unbeatable.
