Not only are there no trains in the Mosquito Coast, there are also no
roads. The only way to get around is by boats or small airplanes. I have
gone in both ways - 3 days in a pipante (dugout canoe) or 3 hours in a
Cessna. All in all, I prefer the Cessna but the boat is an interesting
trip! I'd do it again anytime.
