My printer is called Blurb. After years of wasting money on printers, paper and inks, both standard and exotic ones, I gave away my Epson printer and all the supplies. Blurb books is what I prefer, and if I want something bigger to put on the wall, there are plenty of services, both local and online, that can do it for me.

Cheers,
Nathan

Because of some home renovations, the printer was in storage for several months. I'm now setting the printer back up and de-clogging the heads. This is probably a good time to ask how viable this way of printing is in the long term.

I long ago found that for color prints, Costco does a great job with my full-resolution sRGB JPG files as long as I specified "Do not correct." I've never tried them for B&W. I don't print enough to justify a high-capacity printer like the Epson 3000 or its newer relatives. I don't use Adobe software, so Photoshop-specific procedures won't help me. I use Capture One and Picture Window Pro. Presently, I don't sell my prints, I just look at them and put a few up on my wall.
