I like 2015 best.

We have a town about 50 km from here, Calpe, which has a large German population, large enough to organize a proper Oktoberfest every year, with all the right food, beer, music, muscular waitresses etc. Having been to the real thing in both Munich and Stuttgart, I can attest to the authenticity.

Cheers,
Nathan

The town reinvented itself in the 60’s modeled on a Bavarian village to prevent the town from going under due to the loss of the railroad and the declining logging industry. It was worked well for all these years. We got back from our fall trip too late to see the amazing fall color around Leavenworth, but the trip is always fun and the German food is really good. Here are a few shots from the Munchen Haus where we enjoy getting a good Bockwurst .
