Gerry, do not be so sure. It all depends on what deal gets negotiated. Remember that there are lots of EU citizens living in the UK and lots of Brits living in the EU. So both sides have an interest in treating each other’s citizens decently, also post-divorce. The Channel will still be only 33 km wide.
