[Leica] M9 reliability question

I have a black m9 and am the original owner. I keep checking my photos for sensor issues but nothing as yet. I bought the camera in 2010. It's a real workhorse, naysayers or not!
Would I buy a new 240? Probably not as the M9 serves me well. And I have a Fuji XPro 2 that I can also use my Leica glass on and at 24 MP it's just a super combination. If Fuji does go to a full frame, look out!!

They were looking for €3,000 and there's another private one on an Irish ad site looking for €2,600 - both of which, I'm assuming the dealer's one, have had their sensors sorted. There are some optimistically priced ones on fleaBay, but the real disrupter to these inchoate ponderings is the distant drumming of a possible full frame, or bigger, offering from Fuji. BTW, has anybody get a Pentax 645Z here?

The one I saw this morning has had the sensor replaced. Those prices are within my range, but I now have doubts about reliability. Clearly, buying an M9 that has not had a sensor replacement is out of the question; but in case one has had it, is the new sensor reliable—or is it just a matter of time before it starts rotting just like the original one did? And are there other reliability issues besides the sensor? Digital Leicas have not exactly had a stellar record.
