Nice panorama and impressive site…but at the risk of sounding like a barbarian, I have to say that in most cases ruins like these do not do that much for me. During the past 2-3 years, I have visited Pompei, Rome (a few times), Acropolis etc. And every time I had the feeling of having done my duty but then I moved on to enjoy the cities in question. This was especially true in Rome—the Colliseum is OK, but I enjoyed the living places like Campo di Fiori much more.
