P.S:-

BTW, the Surface, a full function computer, is cheaper than a loaded  iPad
Air. Go figure..

Also,  some form  of external storage is a must.  Portable 2TB hard
drives  are very reasonably priced now.  Rumour is that Seagates have
higher failure rates than others, so perhaps best avoided.
