[Leica] Leica T lens on SL camera

Is it possible that Leica’s statement means that eventual software when released, will permit compatibility?

After hearing their initial response, I would raise this question.  Also perhaps the lens software may have to be be separately 

updatable, is so,  this should be done. If this is not successful, you may then have to repeat the camera firmware update .
