Ted makes some good points. Even thought the people in Iran may be friendly, the people with whom you will deal on arrival are representatives of a brutal dictatorship, even if it is in the process of becoming a bit more domesticated. And they may well be suspicious and give you problems if you appear to be a professional photographer. I would keep it to two bodies as Ted suggests (in fact, if you think it is sufficiently reliable, then I would go with just the M240). Also, I would not take copies of the book as someone suggested. You want to look like ordinary tourists, not photojournalists.

Cheers,
Nathan

Is just the time when you put a lens to work due to your talent in such a fashion you come away with majestic images due to your years of experience and natural talents that you never thought possible. Believing it was never possible? UNTIL..... CLICK! "Holy Cow look at that!" And you smile giving yourself a nice little pat on the back! Don't over gear yourself! :-(

Even so, if you did and you went with one camera (((DON'T))) YOU HAVE SUCH BEAUTIFUL INATE TALENTS!" you'd still blow the client away believing you were " super woman photog!" :-) We know you are, but we'll never tell! :-)
