On your next visit to Milano, I suggest you take the trip to the roof of the
Duomo. It gives a panoramic view of the city, and most of the trip is via
elevator. Don't know if it's open at night, but if so it could be stunning,
if perhaps a bit vertigo inducing.

Following my brief visit to Padova last week, I spent the remainder of the
week in Milan, on business but with enough free time, especially in the
evenings, to explore the city with my camera. In the weekly blog I will post

magnificent footwear with eye-watering price tags, beautiful old and new
