[Leica] What would you conclude?

Hi Nathan,
You are quite right! Leica's error was/is they've made/developed cameras few
people can afford these days unless they are movie stars or princes! We
working photogs??????? Well not me these days. But the many still about the
world scraping by! :-(
I'm finally getting it through my mind, Leica's day is coming slowly to a
silent end being completely swamped due to all the new picture taking
apparatus.
I think they will come to an end because the "I-phone & like cameras" will
bury them simply because more and more professionals are using some type of
this recording machine, capturing beautiful photos! The results when you're
looking at images shot by fine photographers, pros. and amateurs. The
results even at 13X19 print size are quite amazing. AND GETTING BETTER!
That's Leica's death nell! "Getting better!" When you have a talented
professional or excellent amateur. Remember the end result isn't due to the
camera. Leica or otherwise? It's the human being holding, operating with a
photographic vision that observes the great photo of the day! CLICK!
Leica? Oh yeah? that was one of those old time cameras used by magazine
photogs way back when?!"
"Oh Yeah whatever happened to them?? The LEICA? Oh they're in the photo
museums now!
cheers,
Dr. Ted Grant O. C.

Sorry to say this, but I think Leica no longer cares about superb
photographers like Doug or Tina or Ted. Their target market these days are
Qatari princes looking for neck jewelry.

Cheers,
Nathan
