Jayanand, I was also considering a similar setup.  I have been using the 
27/2.8 on the X-E1 as my "carry always" kit, but the 27 does show a 
little wide-angle type distortion at times.  From Nathan's examples, the 
35 does not seem to be subject to that problem.  It is something to 
consider. :-)
