[Leica] New M(246) Outputs 12 bit Files

The only point I will make is that you can see the difference in colour
gradation between 12 bit and 14 bit colour on close inspection, the latter
is smoother, as is to be expected. Whether it makes a whole lot of
difference, when you do not have large prints side by side to compare
carefully, is dependent on the individual. I normally shoot in 14 bit on my
Nikon D800E, but I change to 12 bit colour when I plan to use continuous
mode, as the buffer clears up a lot faster!
