As usual on weekend mornings, I was out in the mountains near Alicante this morning. An 80 km ride in temperatures that ranged up to 39C/102F despite having started the ride at 8:30 a.m. to avoid the worst of the heat. I do it as part of my training, of course, but there are also other rewards, such as this view:
