[Leica] [OM] IMG: Two From My Archives

Well, as we economists often say: it depends. I am sure that your work in the national archives of Canada will be well preserved, digital or analogue. Other work may not be. When looking at my father’s pictures, the ones from the 1950s and 1960s are the poorest in terms of preservation—these were processed in Communist Poland where the state pretended to pay the peope and the people pretended to work. The pre-war images, in contrast, were created by craftsmen who did a proper job.
