The nice thing about being on holiday is that you have time to process the pictures you take. So here is a gallery from my first-ever visit to Montreal earlier this week. I very much hope to return. It is a wonderful city, and even though we got rained on more than once, our spirits and our enjoyment of the place did not suffer:
