[Leica] Leica M8 and M9 Sensor Problems?

Due in early 2015. Why should it be out? Only the last few months have Pentax/Hasselblad/PhaseOne had a CMOS medium format sensor and they are all the same Sony one, so Leica making their own is courageous....
If you had used an S then you would know that it is not lacking for most use

Is the S model in development the CMOS S or is that already out. I thought
