What Geoff quote is certainly not “technical mumbo jumbo”, not even for this Luddite. Of course, each of those factors is or is not important, depending on one’s shooting needs. In my case, for example, the 1-stop improvement in high ISO would be extremely important since I shoot a lot after dark. This is why I use my Fuji X cameras more than my M8. For someone who only shoots during the day this would be unimportant. On the other hand, pixel count has no relevance for me whatsoever. I can honestly say that I do not even know the megapixel counts of my cameras. I just know it is enough.
