Susan,

In my opinion if you like B&W and if your work is mainly in B&W, you will no regret go for the MM, I still keep the M9 and I use it only for familial souvenirs and sometimes I ask me if it would be better sell it. Concerning the Nocti, this is a preferences decision, the perfect creations with the 0,95 or the personal creations with the 1:0 ….

In any case you don’t need such apertures with a MM, is a matter of aesthetically preferences

My only advice would be if you go for a MM, look for one with still Leica guarantee, as I’ve do, with Leica cameras it is better in my opinion, don’t take risks...

Cheers
Lluis

Would it be a bad idea or less then equitable either way, to try to swap my 1.5 year old, used only a handful of times, Nocti .95 for a used Monochrom and Nocti 1.0 combo? I would really love a Monochrom (I have an M9 I am not interested in selling) and I really prefer the Nocti 1 to the .95 bokeh. I'm not somone who sells and re-buys equipment. What I have is wonderful. Just wondering if I am missing something thinking this could be a fair trade if I found an interested, trustworty dealer or LUG member.
