[Leica] Leica heresy

Jeeze, Mark, take a deep breath will you and re-read my note. It was a ancient 12MP D300 that went not a D800. As I get older I don’t what to lug all that weight around so I didn’t wasn’t to upgrade my Nikon stuff.

16MP is enough for what I want to do regardless of sensor size so I’m mostly shooting with an Oly EM-1 these days and pulled my old micro 4/3rds lenses out of the closet to use on it. Two of them are PanaLeicas’s. Great stuff.

… though I must say a yearning for one of the Sony A7’s persists and one may end up in my hands one of these days.

You have your needs, I have mine. Mustn’t confuse the two. If you need a large sensor hi-res camera, use it. I don’t.

Best,

Dick
