Upgradable modular sensors would be great, so that the camera bodies of today do not become pretty paperweights in only a few years time. Buying a film Leica was like buying a camera for life. Sadly digital cameras aren't like that. But wouldn't it be great if all that precision engineering did not go to waste over time.
