I normally shoot with ProRAW though although I?ve been using Halide and saving both RAW and HEIC files. I?m just not seeing what Frank is seeing. In my use-case these files are just fine. I?m using an iPhone 14 Pro Max now and it?s RAW files are very nice. I do have a quibble with some of the emphasis Apple applies in their internal pipeline processing - but I can also adjust some of that. As always - it?s a personal call but for me the HEIC is fine.
