Back in the 1990s I worked overseas for a few years. New Orleans to Nigeria, Angola or Kazakhstan was my itinerary. One trip, on a gorgeous, clear midday I was treated to a fabulous view of the southern end of Ireland. Please fill in the counties I was looking at. I remember green, dark rocks and white surf. And no camera handy. Ireland is truly spectacular on a clear day from 30+ thousand feet!
