Thank you for your comments.  There are some blown highlights on the
projected man, the glare on his glasses.   The top of his pate is just
under blown as it reads about 98, 98, 98 on the histogram.

I have had this lens for a few years, I bought it with my Noctilux and a
57mm F1.2 Konica.  I have compared it to two generations of the Canon 50
1.2.  There old double gauss designs get very interesting when pushed to
F1.2 and beyond.

If your friend has a converted mount version it will be very enjoyable.
 If still the old external bayonet then using it on a Canon 7(s) is not
fast from an M experience.   My version is a converted TV lens: it is
easier to convert a C mount to M.
