All I see on the LUG are peoples gear gone for many months and then coming back not fixed. Is that this hemisphere and not yours? S2-P - sensor replacement after corrosion (sometime issue) S(007) - cover peeling off (known issue) 30-90 zoom - aperture failure 35, 45, 120 (twice) and 180mm lenses all with AF motor failure (known issue) So out of my main kit, that leaves only two AF lenses not needing sent for free repair. All repairs have been done since I moved back to Europe, are carried out for free and shipping is free (UPS) with a three week turnaround including shipping..... john -----Original Message----- From: Mark Rabiner I think the new systems now from Leica, the SL we?ve been discussing as well as the medium format S are working out. I?m not hearing about repair problems on these newer system cameras which are more firmly based on electronics less much less on mechanical systems. I think they are working out.
