Early this morning, I woke up as a foreigner national in Germany. The referendum should have been demographically weighted according to age. After all, most the people who voted out appear to have been 50 and over, so it was not really their future they were deciding on. Watching the interviews before the debacle also showed quite clearly that HM Gov. should have invested a lot more in education over the past few decades :-) What the outists can now look forward to is a massive influx of rich - rather than poor - foreigners looking for cheap property when the pound hits rock bottom. Just think of all those people who voted out living in houses rented to them by foreigners - serves 'em right. The only thing missing from Farage?s corner is a bunch of "foot soldiers" like the SA. (Get out the black shirts again and put up a memorial to Oswald Mosley! - my dad was always proud of the fact that he threw rocks at him at a rally in Leeds). They finally went and put an end to any kind of "splendour that was ours" and turned themselves into a right-wing, tin-pot, has-been empire just off the coast of continental Europe. High time that Ulster, Eire and Scotland (Cornwall, Wales and Brittany, as well?) joined forces as a Celtic Union within the EU!!
