In my monitor they don?t look too much brilliant, seeing the picture (on the monitor) I even thought that they was so low. In the printed picture looks more brilliant but they don?t arrive to Zone X except in some very small points, in the print they are Zone IX and on my screen I think they could be Zone VIII. I have my monitor calibrated however my final control is with the histogram clipping, I take a look and try always avoid or be just at the limit of the zones 0 and X, on this case I have controlled this and not saw a problem. In my opinion is a certain lack of contrast on the center of the image and on the foreground? I will review it and maybe apply a small touch of Silver Efex Pro2.
