I'm betting that had Dick Tracy had the option he'd have gone with a smaller dial size. That thing had to get in the way when he was collaring a perp... get caught on something. Coincidently I'm down a watch. There is no watch on my wrist for a month now this is a new first a new low I was saving for a new lens now I'm saving for a new laptop. I have like a lot of people (guys?) a cigarbox filled with cheap watches which don't work. The question being which one to bring in and try to get fixed and for how much? This is complicated by living in NYC with everyone sworn to rip you off like the dog which you are. Getting one fixed cost the same as fixing an old one would be the thing. The thing which has made for a cigar box filled with mystery watches (what went wrong with this one?) All I really want is a Timex like I had as a kid in the 50's (in NY). To get one I need a Time machine you sit in and a big wheel goes round and round as designed by George Pal. Using an iPhone for a pocket watch is very common right not but its not me. I'm a watch guy. I want something on my wrist which shows me the time and looks like a watch. It dos not have to light up and say "kiss me baby". The step counter in my iPhone I find to be quite a deal changer since May I've done well with it its called Pacer and like many things free it acts like it. I've lost a ton of weight and can see clearly when I'm sloughing off or being erratic and by how much. I need something which cost real money and works really with an interface not designed by a mouseketeer. . A Fitbit on my wrist might be the thing. Or another of the dozen brands. They all look like watches. I guessing they are watches. My price point is $99. When its overcast my sundial does not work so well.
