I also use an older 3.5 Micro Nikkor and its not only sharp, certainly for its age but has a kind of special look to it somehow. I knot its not me because in the past weeks going through all my stuff twice I stopped to look up the metadata to find out which lens it was and it was that lens. So it stopped me twice in my tracks as it were. Though I often wonder what life would have been like had I kicked in an extra hundred bucks and got the 2.8. Which I may do this year as they are still being sold new at B&H.
