Yep it is very very hard to saturate the buffer no matter how fast your
shooting rhythm (on single). It was possible to see occasional lockups with
the EVF with the initial firmware. Because the EVF functions are controlled
by body and/or EVF in combination, sometimes you might be presented with a
blank screen rather than an actual lockup too (the EVF being able to review
as well as LiveView).
As far as I know the lockup issue was entirely cured by the newer firmware.
 At least I have not seen a single hiccup with mine.
