I dont know about Sony, but Nikon cameras (D800E, D4) with the 70-200
and 200-400 which I have used tend to go on forever. On the D800, with
normal usage (no live view) I get around 1000 shots, and if I turn off
the LCD, I get over 1600 shots per charge. I have never managed to
deplete the D4 battery yet, even after shooting over 2200 shots once.
