Hi Geoff.  I mean this in a nice way....  Give it a rest.  By that I mean I 
think some people are reading old posts and have not gotten to the new post 
with the well stated rules for submission.  Clear to me, and should be clear 
to anyone who reads them.  So, let the reading catch up with your posts and 
I am sure all will be fine and you won't be so frustrated having to say the 
same thing over and over again.  I think you will do a great job and 
everyone will be quite happy with the results, as they have been in the 
past.

Thanks so much for taking on the book.  I only submitted for the first time 
this year.

David you are mistaken. You were not the only one who shot totally
non-Leica.
Perhaps you missed my earlier posts on the content of the current yearbook.

I counted 110 photos that were identified as taken with any Leica Camera or
any Leica branded lens on any camera. (including Panasonic made lenses that
say Leica on the front)
There are 70 photos in there that were identified as taken with Nikon,
Fujifilm, Canon and other brands.,
There are 59 photos in there where the equipment was not identified for
whatever reason the photographers wish. Including your gear detail has
always been optional. No problem for anyone as far as I know.

The next one might have 200 iPhone photos and 2 with Leica if that's what
people want to contribute. It's your book. The editors don't decide the
content at all.

I really don't understand these new comments, except perhaps they reflect
that there is differing opinion on the place for Leica within the LUG.
Once  again I said from the start that I did not intend to change what Jim
has long established for 2014. But maybe some part of that is what people
are unhappy about?

Well I'll check back in after some weeks on this after everyone has had
further opportunities to have a say.
