The screen on the back is a no-starter.  It was the Oly EVF that I referred
to....

That replicates what Bob Adler said about the EVF ... time lag....

But CAN you accurately focus the camera using the Oly EVF?  ( at this point,
forget the time lag.... is it accurate and contrasty and bright and resolves
enough detail enough?

Frank,

Olympus EVF that fits in the hot shoe.  It is clear and bright, but there is
a lag so I ONLY use it when I'm using the R macro lenses.  I can't imagine
using it all the time with M lenses.  The lag before and after taking the
photo would drive me nuts.  It's fine for something like macro when nothing
is moving but for people photos - impossible.
