I like it a great deal and prefer the modern design. However the previous models are certainly capable of course. Lluis for example is a fine practitioner with his. Advantages of the newer design are higher contrast and resolution wide open in theory, better correction and especially no focus shift problems in use. LiveView is a great testing tool on your new M to see exactly what your lenses actually deliver to the sensor . Due to the ASPH versions construction/design it is likely that any needed adjustment/calibration means a tear down and rebuild back at Solms. Well, Wetzlar next year.
