Subject: [Leica] Theoretical mp limit?

When the S is all about is sensor size less so pixel count. sensor size is
basic to what determines quality in a photographic image nowadays..
Even more basic to the  issue of image quality is Pixel pitch. And you get
that with the larger sensor sizes and you get it less when MP's are jacked
up on any sized sensor.. What's way more important is using the largest
sensor you can carry. Not a pixel packed cropped sensor with a stunted pixel
pitch resulting.  It been a long time now that point and shoots have had
move MP's then the standard of the industry Full Frame DSLR's and few people
thought their images they made were anywhere close to the same leage.
