All lens do it to some extent, even very expensive M lenses wide open for example...except that even more expensive new APO Summicron 50 ASPH. Stop it down to f/4 or so and it is ridiculously perfect. To be really unsettled, also take a look at the MTF numbers from the X Vario sometime! Here is the toughest situation possible for point light sources and you can see that the Summilux M 35 ASPH is not immune at f/1.4 . Look at the point specular light sources which were frozen at 1/4000th.
