Knowing the type of impulse buyer you are, be sure to try before you buy,
Paul. ;-)
The key to Leica being so superb is, in my opinion, the great optics as well
AND the beautiful engineering of the lens mount that keeps the lens to
sensor distance superbly accurate.
Medium format is even more demanding. To achieve equivalent detail results
you will definitely need to ensure that whatever system you buy has terrific
control over the lens to sensor distance. Any inaccuracy there (even 1/100th
mm) will degrade the image quickly.
I hope the Pentax lets you use your Rollie lenses. I found that the
Hasselblad lenses mounted on the 500 series did not have this tolerance
capability.
