You would think that by now this STUPID thread would have died out from
sheer boredom. I do not buy my cameras because some pro's use them I buy
them because they fit the way I like to create photos. I own Leica's and
also have 2 Nikon's, and I could care less if pro's or a particular pro uses
either of them. The Nikon D700 I own mostly sits on the shelf, as it is two
noisy to my ears, while the D4 is a super whizband camera that has more
controls on it than I will ever use, but I find I have use for it's features
that i do need or find useful. I get the most satisfaction out of using my
M8, and R8DMR, and they do only 1/4 of the things the Nikons do, but their
simplicity inspire me and I find I enjoy using them and creating photographs
with them, they just work. I do not use Canon, as it offers me nothing that
inspires me. So can we please put this stupid thread to bed, and get back
to things of real value, like what type of hat we wear... ;D

Cheers,
Gene

The name on the camera: "fancy" or "larger format" or "whatever?"
does not determine nor capture:
the Light,
the Moment,
the Composition,
the Emotion,
the Drama
the Concept

The best professionals will
with whatever camera they have in their hands.
