Howard R, the staple food in these parts of India is Rice and Pork, but beef would do well as a change. India is probably the most diverse country in the world, so you will find every culinary habit prevalent somewhere or the other. Beef, anyway, is freely available in the urban areas anywhere. Luis, yes 35mm is 50mm equivalent, and it is a killer lens, capable of holding its own against all comers. The Fuji's low light capabilities are exceptional as well, making for a very flexible combo.
