Both were perfect on return and seemed to be working fine on my M9. Retests this week after finding that I had a lot of shots with the 50 that were focussed behind. I blamed my astigmatism. Operater error is still the first thing to check into. The 75 is within 1cm (front) wide open at 2metres. Better than I can reliably handhold/focus. The (now 5 years of use) 50 proved to be 8cms behind at 2m wide open. Hopeless for the people/fashion stuff I've been trying of late. So they can go out. The lens has just left for a new service. My new and very expensive Summilux 35 ASPH proved to be 15cm back focusing at 2m. Tht is a huge error. I never even saw that though in 18 months or so when I just didn't use it for in close wide open type stuff. Adjusted in Australia (which I did not expect for an FLE lens). it is now absolutely spot on the money at 2m Cheers, Geoff http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman On 12 October 2012 13:27, John McMaster <john at mcmaster.co.nz> wrote: > Mine went to Solms, Noctilux back-focussed ~30cm at 5m (and did not focus > beyond ~50m) and that and 75mm Summilux were 6-bitted.
