By the way I just got my coiled TTL cord sent to me from Portland yesterday and have been playing with it all night two nights and re familiarizing myself with it and holding ones flash in ones left hand and in my case AF camera in my right hand is a very handy way to spends ones day. I'd not call it bulky. But a little wrist strap for the flash I have to rig up as there are times when one has to use the other hand to do something on the camera. I've shot bit time events with this type of setup. Often with a Norman 200C with a small little white square over the head making for really slick results. It works much better on bumble bees with the TTL cord and instant preview thing on the back of your camera macro flash is not endless testing and waiting and stress and bracketing like it used to be. With a light source coming from way to the left or way over the lens axis most shots pass for non flash shots. They look quiet "real". And have plenty of modeling and contrast; and control.
