Exactly my recommendation,

My event stuff is at Smugmug http://www.rfman.com

But my new documentary, fine art stuff, blog is my own site:
http://www.richardmanphoto.com

If you just want places to stash photos, or sell (commercial, rather than
fine art) prints, smugmug is pretty much no hassle way to go.
