Thanks to finally having time actually read the manual, I have now found how to move the focus spot. There is a new review of the camera on LuLa which is a little critical of the controls for moving the focus spot, but I do not feel it will be a problem in practice. There is also some comment about Fuji not co-operating with Adobe over the raw processing but I find this difficult to believe as they appear to have always done so in the past, and I feel it is just a timing thing. Here is the LuLa link: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/cameras/.shtml BTW, it may be different in the US but my dealer has a cash-back scheme on the lens which reduced it by about $60, and he also knocked about $150 off the body price so I was a pretty happy bunny.
