Subject: [Leica] Nikon D4

I got my Leica in 1993. I got my first digital a D100 in 2003. And I got my
very first Nikon an F2 in 1972.
I thought this was a discussion about iso. Not a comparison between M's and
F's. But if it is a comparison between M's and F's I'm pretty aware of them
as anyone you're going to find having shot thousands of rolls with both. And
digital makes it way different becuae you can shoot at way lower light with
way lower shutter speeds. Don't know why. But you can. Do its hard to
compare all the way back to film. If I knew how things would be going I'd
have never gotten my Noctilux in 2001. Things change fast.
The Sensor in the M9 just like those in the Canons and Nikon DSLR's will be
upgraded soon enough. Its a continuous process. Things get better on farily
regular intervals. though for some I'm sure very good reason the sensor
development on the M9 is stuck a bit. The time will come soon enough with
Solms announces a new sensor competitive with those in an EOS 1D Mark IV or
D4 or 700. When that happens they'll not be paying top photographers to use
M9's any more it will be the other way around.
