Please, "May I have your attention for a moment?" Thank you As Jim Shulman, The Master of our LUG YEAR BOOK has offered re: photo submissions. You can see many are behind in submitting two photos for the 2011 book. Certainly compared to the past few years at the same date. It's important that you know! Just send two photos that you personally like. We don't expect LIFE magazine style images.... none of us are that good or we're dead. Any two that you shot that make you feel neat in the finished result. One point I try to have each and everyone understand is...... "Jim does the book all by himself! And he's worked right to the last second of a given year assembling the book pages, while many of you folks are out playing "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" He's knocking himself out to get everyone's photos in because some folks submit at the last minute. Please don't do that! Thank you. Sure it could be said, "He doesn't have to!" "Screw the late senders!" could be another. However that isn't how he is as a person. He wants' to make it the best it can be and the more members we have the better! The bigger collection the better the book overall! On top of that, many of you have never had a picture published, best of all a picture published with your name as the shooter. Trust me it's pure excitement of the heart and soul and you feel real "cool!" :-) If you haven't had the thrill of saying to friends or a family member... "Hey look at my pictures published in this book!" And you hand them a real "BOOK" while you are just beside yourself with excitement and a heart pounding thrill! :-) Trust me, as many pictures I've had published along with my books it's the same......... "You're just bubbling inside when you see "YOUR PICTURES WITH YOUR NAME!" Man that's cool! :-) So please if you will send your two photos to Jim, like create a deadline for yourselves of..... "NOT LATER THAN DECEMBER 15TH!" It would be jolly good of you to be so kind to Jim and do this. Thank you very much! cheers, Dr. ted :-) And yes mine are in! Anything you want from Magnum quality to backyard snapshots is fine.
