I have just checked the focussing of my 50mm macro on the Olympus pen E-P2 using the Panasonic 4/3 to mft adapter and it autofocuses OK. I no longer have a 4/3 body so I can't compare AF speed. The Panasonic GH1 doesn't autofocus those Olympus 4/3 lenses I own at all. Frank On 28 Nov, 2011, at 16:09, A.
