My position is that "impossible" means cannot, not did not.

I think leica are a great company and I have spoken to their engineers
and optical designers as Geoff has.  I am what I think is realistic
about them.  Neither fan, nor instant detractor.  I give them plenty
fo credit for what they do well, but am similarly critical about their
flaws, particularly when they have opportunities to be different.  I
am the same about all the other products that I use.
