I worked on a project where the main computer was a Mac and I had to adjust everything to the Mac and help the Mac owner understand how to organize everything for the project. It nearly drove me crazy. Nothing was where I expected it to be and defied the logic that I had learned through many years of using Windows computers. Not to mention that all of the software I have is Windows specific. Switching would be a major pain. One of my major workflow steps includes Breezebrowser which is Windows only. I just don't think I have enough years and money left to learn and switch to a new system at this point. So I appreciate all of the suggestions and am working on restoring various dates; however, nothing is working so far and I'll probably have to do a new install and install all of my programs again. If only I could find all of my original CDs, packed in boxes as we move the house. :-( Tina On Tue, Apr 26, 2011 at 6:58 PM, Ric Carter <ricc at embarqmail.com> wrote: > True, they do break. > > My Apple store is 35 minutes from the house, 5 minutes from the office. > > A bad graphics card required replacing the main board in my 17-in Macbook > Pro.
